Unhappy sat nav problem

hi there i am new to this site i have a range rover td6 2005 o5 reg i have a problem with the nav the screen has gone blank and no orange light the box in the back has no red light two all gone dowm i disconcted the batt for 2min and reconected it and the land rover sign comes up and goes away and screen goes blank again can eneone hep me im in weat bromwich midlands can travel two show or have look for me please need this problem sorting help .......... the td6

Did you find a solution as I am having simillar problems in my 2001 RR Vogue ??

no m8 no luck so far i dont think these cars r not wouth the 60 grand new i think therse cars are sh... the bmw x5 better car. the range looks better . but x5 has no problems like range. i e air suspition steering colunm sat nav diff. eta eta . ene way i had no luck on that sat nav but have been toled to change the nokia modul in the boot and the black nav. if ene one out there got a nokia or nav for the boot please tell me .

If t comes and goes - Sounds like a poor connection somewhere. Check the plugs that go into the back of sat nav box. You will find four small holes around the outside of the unit, push some release rods in (sometimes a very thin screw driver(s) works) and draw the sat nav unit out of its cradle. Obviously the car will not be running and ignition off and key out etc. Undo the two plugs and the aerial lead at the back and re-seat them. Avoid disconecting the battery the car doesn't like it.
