    Unhappy V8 wading plug

Does anyone know the size of the wading plug on a V8 110 if it's smaller than 1/4" bsp? The local dealer looked up the parts list and produced a 1/4" and lo and behold it's too big. I'm guessing at about 3/16" bsp, but if the rest of the vehicle is anything to go by it could be UNF, UNC, metric, or even Whitworth!
