Aye, that was up a few weeks ago at £2000, still a little over priced at £1500 but atleast it's not getting scrapped. If I had any form of disposable income i'd be half tempted to throw in an offer.

My guess is that the owner died and the landy was past to a family member. No enthusiast, as the owner of that series seems to be by looking at the landy, would scrap a vehicle they had owned for 20 years with the scrappage scheme. The fact that they have an MOT makes all the scrappage scheme victims too good to scrap.

I don't think it will be a major trauma to them they are main dealers for Skoda, VW, Fiat, Citroen, Vauxhall, Saab, Nissan and Volvo, service centres for Ford and Chevrolet and have 7 sites in total.

Im not sure how they can sell it for £1500 i thought that any scrappage car can be bought back but must have the full £2000 payed on it so they must be making a loss.

I think their original listing said they hadn't completed the paperwork for the Scheme and just wanted to get something back.
