    Default Dead turbo

    Hello all.

Does anyone have a knackered 200tdi disco turbo they want to donate to a good cause?

As i say the turbo can be 'dead' because i am swapping the internals from a non dead but cut in half turbo...

My price range would be between £0 and very few £ - Its for a good cause after all!

    Cheers, Briam

Yep im aware of this, im hoping there's a way of not taking it apart that much though, I was hoping I could use the turbine 'bit' on another un molested exhaust 'bit'. I think im going to talk to Snagger about it as i think he did some turbo swapping somehow. I don't think a 19j turbo would be much use to me - Thanks for the offer though.

that doesn't matter, it's not going to go on anything that'll run. I teach the cadets propulsion and they have trouble understanding the concept of turbos/superchargers and it would help to explain the turbine/compressor setup too.
