Carlisle Area

Anyone from round there?

Mrs O and myself stopped near Cumwhitton (SE of Carlisle) for a night on our way up. Lovely looking area, rising up to the Pennines to the East. Has anyone done any laning round there?

It's about 2 or 3 miles from where I live and yup 'tis a very nice place.

As for lanes and the likes then there are non that I know of, nearly everything around here are either Footpaths or Bridleways, I don't think there are any Byeways in the area, maybe the odd UCR and that's about it as far as I know, though to be honest I have never really looked into it.
