Doh! obviously this was aimed at our freinds across the water, not here in Gods country.
Just thought it might be nice to chat to people across the world and the forum.

I'll probably be one of the ones viewing from time to time, but like you say, very quiet for LR stuff over here.

Got our first Southern Alberta LR "do" next weekend. 20 or so vehicle convoying down here from Edmonton on the Fri, then us 3 LR geeks in Mediine Hat are leading them out into Cypress Hills 'til the Monday.
Not much off-roading to be had out there. Severity is weather dependant, but some of these people have never driven long distances on the gravel roads we have over here.....I'm expecting plenty of washboard vibration related vehicle problems. I'll probably sweep the route as tailend charlie picking up bits of LR!

I hate those kind of roads also. Sheared off one of my engine mountings because of them. Series vehicles tend to really take to them badly unless tyre pressures are dropped significantly.

And I'm out on the West Coast. I rarely check this regional site as there is often nothing on it. One of the other sites has an active North American (mostly Canadian) regional site. No real reason why.

Big event this weekend in my back yard. June 9th & 10th, 5th annual Vancouver Island Land Rover Laager. See the 5 page article in the October '06 issue of LRW, it is of the June '06 Laager.

Any of the RMR's coming out this year? Anyone from Britian going to arrive this year? You're invited! For details and location, go here.
