I will be going to Wales for a long weekend in a couple of weeks. We're staying near Llandridod (I think) by the A483.

I may go in the LR and have a nose up some green lanes. Can any of you kind souls suggest a route or two? Hard or easy routes, just so long as we get off road through a bit of decent scenery. I doubt that there will be much in the way of wading available, but if there are any good spots you can suggest please do.

I was thinking of something that we could do in a day with some walking along the way. I have heard that some of the green lanes have some good scenery along them (mountains, lakes etc). I'm not too worried about the difficulty of the lanes, I have plenty of off road experience (and more than enough kit to get me out of any trouble). I'm more interested in having some good scenery as SWMBO and the dog will need their walk :p :dog:

I think the place we're staying is about ten miles along the A483 from Llandridod, but I haven't got the info here so I will have to double check.

Any suggestions welcome.
