Cirrus with about 1/8th of low Altocumulus unless I'm very much mistaken. :p

There are some really good night skys at the moment as well, on Saturday it was incredible down here, it was a sort of curds and whey effect but perfectly laid out (if you know what I mean) not mackeral but sort of big lumps and with the moon right behind the sky glowed.

It looked fantastic though it might have been the 2 bottles of wolfblas I had drunk though :beers: :beers:

Try and capture them Bill, cos at some point we'll probaly have a sunset/cloud formation comp :)

heh, youre assuming that I would know how to do a long exposure night shot. jeez I have enough trouble taking pictures of our car stood in the drive in daylight!!
If we have a good one tonight I might have a go though cos they have been something else.

I was thinking of letting folks choose the subject of each comp anyways, as well as Stephens and my own ideas, ......if you want the first comp to be Landys and sunset or summink then just say :)
