Drumclog is in Scotland,just south of Glasgow (nearest town Strathaven pronounced Straven)

Yep that's the one. Site entrance is about 1 1/2 miles from the A71, Drumclog. If you are heading North from Ayrshire, turn right at the church, just past the Plant yard, and follow yer nose :) .
