Lowtech,
Yes ebay regualraly seem to have them.
Do you know exactly what size and shape was on the vehicle before? Was it the classic 'flattened' oval with rivets, and holes at the same height?
I only ask because my 1982 S3 badge was screw-in, and therefore screw-off and nicked one night. I looked and looked at series badges on ebay, and they were always the wrong shape, till I saw a 90 one on there which matched mine exactly!
I lost the auction but now I know what sort I *should* be looking for, an early 90/110 badge. ie a more 'oval' oval with screw holes offset ie one bottom left, one top right.
I can only assume that by 82 as they were getting close to the new non-series vehicles, parts were starting to change and there was a bit of overlap, a normal feature of landies.
HTH!
