WANTED defender 200tdi thermostat housing

the cheapest i can find is 92 quid, which is a tad expensive for my taste.

You could try one of the 'online breakers' - I've used Parts Gateway (http://www.partsgateway.co.uk) before, very successful. And there is also www.247parts.co.uk (http://www.247parts.co.uk)

Hmmm there are a couple of places Whitchurch Wem way IIRC. In fact there is a LR breakers somewhere near Wem IIRC again!

Don't know about the others, but parts gateway didn;t seem like a con to me. Basically your parts request is passed to various dealers/breakers, and they email you back (fairly quickly) with what they have and how much, new or secondhand.
