AJ I have a hum dinger of a 1992 (early k-reg) 90 for you! £4500 the asking price, 60k original miles on the clock, 200tdi, blue, emaculate inside (have never seen such a clean interior), engine bay is untouched, outside is pretty clean and straight a couple of small dings and the usual bubbled paintwork, PAS, adjustable tow hitch, vinal seats (clean and un damaged).
Have been told that the gearboxes and chassis are all sweet and it is a superb runner.
If you want pics thats no problem and I can take it for a run, get it up on ramps and report back too if you are interested!
Cheers for that Guy. He's driving up to Taunton as I type to check a few out at www.landroverman.com (http://www.landroverman.com) . I'll let him know when he returns.
Cheers,
AJ

No worries mate, the 90 is here in bangor and I can view it whenever I want, so just say the word! :)
Guy,
He's on his way back after looking at a few bad 90s. There were a few good 110s but they're not what he's after. He's now checking out this in Wadebridge on the way home (It's in the Autotrader);
LAND ROVER DEFENDER TD5 ,
T reg. 56000 miles, Immaculate. S/H. 6 months tax & MOT. Baby forces sale. (Wadebridge Area). £6,700
I reckon he's biting the bullet and spending more for a better one.
I told him about your find which he really appreciates so stand by for an image request if this one doesn't come off.
Cheers,
AJ
I think he'll be going for the Td5 Guy. He's having a think and checking out insurance quotes. The last quote for the 1992 90 was less than he's paying for a little 1.0 VW Polo!
Cheers.

Aye ok mate! If he changes his mind you have but to holla! Sommat he may want to think about - IF this is his first LR (I am not sure if it is or not) and is planning to service and repair it himself a TD5 isn't the easiest engine in the world and it can be a pig to repair and cost a fortune too! for example 1 injector costs over 300 notes!!!
Sommat else, why is a TD5 under 5k? seems very low!

Midlands then :D I haven't got a clue what an Oxford comma is, first I'd ever heard of it was on here today ... :D
Right about Taunton ;) When I was driving vans out of Exeter (different runs did mostly city centre / Topsham / Dawlsih / Torbay) we had one that went up to Taunton, and the way the lads went on when loading hiim up, you would think he was going to the moon :D

Nice.
What spec/model?
Nice.
What spec/model?Blue 90 Td5 Hard Top with standard wheels. Bog standard so he can add and improve as he sees fit.
He's bringing it up on Wednesday for me to have a look at.
I told him about your wheels but hasn't seen them yet. I'll be advising Wolfs though!;)
