Hand throttle, 2.5 petrol

Can anybody help with sourcing a Land Rover hand throttle to suit a 2.5 petrol Ninety.[Weber carb]. I saw a drawing of one in the workshop manual, but never met one in the flesh.

Have you tried any of the military suppliers yet, they may have a kit for sale... I can give you alist if you need it, of places to try...

Did you try P.A.Blanchard? They list a number of different hand throttle kits in their catalogue.

Steve, I tried 4 different suppliers - but not P A Blanchard - guess who I am 'phoning next. cheers! Sandy.

I tried 'phoning PA Blanchard several times but got no reply!!!
Went to local main dealer and bought a tiny little bowden cable with a ratchet on the end for the thick end of £55.00:snarl: but couldn't get the carburettor linkage part which is a spring loaded lever mounted on a pressed steel bracket as it is now an obsolete part :snarl: :snarl:.
Phoned around various mail order specialists for 1 hour until LR supermarket came up with the goods for less than £10.00:yay:
