Hi there, just moved into the area from Southern Ireland where we go more or less where we want for our offroad days and weekends. I believe the rules change over here in England. Am living in Devon and am looking for someone to show me how you lads do it over here. Have a 110 TD5 with muds, winch but don't like to damage the body work exception of minor scratches. Living in Tiegnmouth near N Abbot. Is there much 4x4 in the area?
Are there many clubs about? Not too keen on club politics though just want to get some good off roading in. :yay:

Eddie/big-oki,

Don't know if you noticed but the previous posts were in 2003 so maybe they have been and gone.

I'm sure a bit of laning could still be arranged between the devon members. I'm just a wee bit busy ATM though. I know of a chap or two with series 2's who are up for a bit when they are free.

For laning though, there's only a couple of tame, short lanes on the other side of the A38 from Buckfastleigh otherwise you've got to go up to Exmoor.

I'm up for it. I'm free almost any weekend. Bit boring after all the mud at the 'Pay n Play' though.

Well impressed with Mark's garage set up there tonight. A good bloke to know.

As mentioned earlier, even more interested in going up to Exmoor now that Chris mentioned the 'difficult' sections.:D Interested to know where they are though. If you have any co-ords Chris post them or e-mail them please.

I've yet to discuss P & P this Sunday with Mrs AJ.

He knows what he's doing alright! Chris fixed his and a couple more bushes done on mine.

With what we discussed last night exmoor sounds like a good day out. If other people happy, try and organise the run to Exmoor towards the end of March. Hopefully by then I will have stuff sorted out.:banghead2

Will be good to see you and Mrs AJ if you can make it on Sunday. but do understand if you can't :)

Aj asked about that on Sunday, says he's free anytime ( 'Martini' anytime, anyplace,anywhere)..........the old one's are the best:smart:

For me, money is a problem at the moment so anything like that will have to go on the backburner:(
