sydney people wonna offroad? =P LROC

hey people, just wondering if many people here are from sydney or near sydney? i have just joined the LROC (land rover offroad club of sydney) but no events coming up soon enough for me and i have no friends to go offroading with =( wondering if anyone in the sydney area would want to possibly go to stockton beach together or some other places?
i want to go but dont want to go by myself and i dont know anyone who is willing to take come with me =P lol... all got nice mercedes and bmw etc. 4wds that cant get stratched! lol.

Hey Luke,

Im too far from Sydney and the Landy's too far from running to take you up on your offer. Mine is a chassis and bulkhead waiting for further restoration - a welding class beckons so I can fix some rust in the rear of the chassis. :o

I wish you luck in your search - nothing so far at least on this forum I see. I'd love to get into the Hawkesbury area. I once went through there with a camper van on my way from Adelaide to Brisbane (some ferry crossing near a place with a great hotel/pub - name of both of which escapes me) and loved it - are there any great drives you know of through that area (probably silly question as I bet there are)? :)
