Why do we hide our lanes?

If we were to lose our Lanes who do we blame? Ourselves? the people who are against us? or our own apathy? If we have a favourite lane then why don't we advertise it?? Iwillask my mate where we went at weekend, it was a green lane that was about 3miles long and waws great Yorkshire is a wonderful place. If you are in Kelbrook before 2000hrs then you will get a good feed

Telling mates about lanes is a good idea but look at the trouble LRO caused when it did the series on lanes showing how far you could drive on the Ridgeway in Wiltshire. Over night all sorts turned up in all weather so the lane got over used and screwed up, It was once a very plesent lane and at points you could bearly tell vehicles had been there.

I am all for laning and prefer it to any pay and play day but there are some idiots that screw it up for all of ushttp://www.landrovernet.com/forum/images/icons/icon4.gif

Hi Guys can anyone tell me where there are some green lanes in South Wales or if there is a website I can go on, I have bought an old series 3 and want to have a look at whats out there, any ideas?????
