Are there any regular groups who green lane in North Wales? I was hoping to meet up with a few like minded people some time over the next 2 weeks. Sorry to sound cheeky but I'm not convinced about paying £30-£50 if I can have a better introduction from a none commercial group. I will happily buy the tea's/bacon butties!!!:)

Sure is! Try contacting Paul Humphreys, he runs CRAG and is out every weekend pretty much and you are free to join him on his tours of the welsh greenlanes!

I would just like to say I do not run CRAG, I am just part of a team.

I'm doing the Wayfarer this Sunday, like you I'm new to laning and its the only one I know. You are quite welcome to join me if you want. I'm on holiday the week after easter and was thinking of spending some time laning again if you fancy finding somewhere to go let me know.

I spend time through the summer in North Wales at a camp site in Gyrn Goch, does anyone know of any lanes around that area??? On the site I go there are normally 3-4 Landy owners that would be interested.

Don't know anything that far west but hopefully someone will prove me wrong

You might need to head down towards Barmouth to pick up any lanes?

Actually, there appears to be a couple of short BOATs by Morfa Gors and Moel Gwynus - don't know the status, suggest you get a map of the area and talk to the local RoW officer - if you can find one

Theres 2 nice ones just below Barmouth. One across the mountain and one down Happy Vally.

Heard of the happy valley one, turned down the chance to go that way a few weeks ago as I was playing in the woods watching Dave R getting stuck in the mud :D

I have just come back from the Caravan in Gyrn and bought a Landranger map of the area and noticed a couple of lanes around the area. I think the problem will be trying to speak with the RoW officer!!!

I am back there in a couple of weeks so might scout some out.
