Hi,

here a couple of pics taken last weekend when on the farm.

The Freelander did really well on the drive around the farm, nothing too challenging, but still quite impressed.

You can see how green everything is, this farm is south of Karibib in the semi - desert (not that it would seem that way from the vegetation).

Pic of Mühle next to Padda (white and green Defenders) shows what difference 33's make to 31.5's and 2 inch lift springs in the front of the green one to my standard height ones. I will also be getting those springs for the front on Mühle soon.

Last photos are of a thundershower going down in the mountains and the drive on a gravel road (going at the speed limit).

Hi Frank,

Nice photo's. I have a friend from way back who lives/lived in Karibib. His name is Peter Berger and I know him from his involvement in Ham radio. He was one of the three active radio hams in Namibia. The other two were Ian Sutherland in Walvis Bay, and Kosie Du Buisson from Outjo who passed away recently.

Peter was involved in the pink marble that they mine in Karibib.

Cheers,
Marc
