I was told by an alloy wheel specialist you are ok to run a 5stud wheel with 4 nuts for 'emergencies' ..... never ever 3 or less though.
Have got some now, found a chav accesories place which specialises in alloys
Swag, i know you dont like em...but i dont like RRC 3 spoke alloys :p

Tell him that any Road Policing Officer would happily stick a PG9 on a vehicle with "loose" wheelnuts never mind a vehicle with nuts missing altogether.
In fact I've a good mind to round and give 'im a right slap on the legs for his stupidity :D
Don't get me wrong my 86inch is siting in a shed with an assortment of 10mm bolts, and rusty /sheared/ missing studs holding on the wheels, but it isn't moving [and probably will not for a considerable time :o ], and certainly aint going on the public road.

So it won't be in this year's Scottish Hill Rally Sandy? I'm disappointed :D

Ah true. I suppose he meant should you happen to lose a nut or snap a stud while away from home, and not be able to replace it on the side of the road.
Out of interest...how does a copper spot if you have a wheelnut missing as you drive past at 30mph :p

Six points and hmm bye bye licence isn't it for new drivers who've held the licence for less than two years?:p
