Tim has said he is more than happy to do just that, he even claims to actually enjoy doing it, but his number one priority right now is getting those vehicles up and running reliably. Who would ever expect to find a hole drilled in the oil pump?

Tim and james are going to tap the hole and plug it.
It's the main oil pump off the T34 thats been sabotaged, we're still looking for parts for the BOV, to that end, myself and colin stumbled across a salvage merchant in Denbigh today, Sanders, all i can say is oooooooh ,
If you're a mechanical loving kinda guy, this place is like a huge toy shop, they had things ranging from 45 gallon drums full of 10mm nuts right up to the biggest Rolls Royce generator you've ever seen. they even had a little truck the RAF use to mount bombs under jets and a 'US air force liquid oxygen' container. They even had ammo boxes for a fiver, good for tool boxes i'm told.
Tapping it..now thats a good idea..
Totally agree with ya about Saunders Its Aladins Cave, hes got Allsorts. Its Just Down the road from me ..If you need owt picking up

10s good for me Dave..
Great that's when Sam was hoping to get there - what's the plan of action?
Perimeter road along the bottom or just brush clearing to get the 360 machine in next week?
Are you going to have a go at the route the RRCs did last week? Going down should be easy but coming back up could be a struggle either way ...

I wont be there tommorow but thought this may help...
Well what ever you want really ...the machine needs to get down both tracks then join them up down the bottom so we just need to clear the light stuff which isnt that much If memory serves me well ........then have a play..are you going to drive it Dave???

Is the yellow bit the road we come in on ?? have to get the old paper maps out and have a look...

I think the road you come in on is that little one at the top right of the yellow road. Where it says 168 is the big hill with the woods in front (I think)

Sounds an easy day, lets hope so, wouldn't mind going down the RRC trail - give the tree slider diff guards a go :rolleyes:Be nice to have a return which didn't require winching... let hope the machine sorts that out next week :)

Don't worry your pretty little head about it Gez I will show you tomorrow, have a few sheets of paper that should put everything in to perspective!! ;)
The only thing I am worried about is the footpath at the top of the site, esspecially with reference to the upper offroad site!

Private land so there's nothing to stop the track being on the footpath is there? Just need to maintain access for walkers :)

Could you export a slightly bigger jpg showing the surrounding area?
With the grid lines 1000m apart I can scale it up in AutoCAD, have the basis of a site map in no time :D

Ah yes but there are health and safety issues. Think you can get footpaths erased if they are hazardous tho!!

he says he wants to start picking the stumps out this week so we'll be concentrating on ensuring it is safe for him and his machine.
