I just thought I would let you guys n gals know that Land Rover Enthusiast Magazine have an off road Holiday week every year in North Wales. This year it is the week of 31st July - 5th August 2006. (weekend after Billing) I have been three years on the trot now and it is always a great week. Very friendly bunch of or likeminded people. It is run by Dave Mitchell of Land Rover enthusiast 4X4 Activity Club on various private sites around North Wales. Its £199 for Land Rover enthusiast magazine subscribers and £249 for non-subscribers. May see some of you there.

Having done a few of the Landcraft/LRE/Dave Mitchell Adventure drives in private forest sites around Bala in can confirm that they are a great day out :D I am sure a whole week of it would be great...

Last time I went there were a couple of new Disco 3s which Dave announced would be sent to the front to clear a path through the trees for the rest to follow - should have seen the owners faces :eek: :D

Speed-reading again: Thought you'd started shaving! :D My mistake.
I'm up for it. My third time. Though the first time I lost the electrics to the fuel pump on day 3 so rode shotgun with others. A good social week too. Bring insect repellant, lots of spare socks and most of all; don't forget you're on your holidays!

5 weeks to go. If anyone is wishing to go you will need to ring LRe and book. They will send you a booking form for you to fill in and send back with a cheque.
