Could you please post the following as a News Item on the website asap:
North Powys / Montgomeryshire NGLD Project
We have agreed to undertake a repair to a UCR in the Dyfnant Forest this Sunday
RV Location is at the crossroads in the centre of the forest at SJ 005 143. You can get here by entering the forest at SJ 019 132 and then bearing left onto the main track that heads west then north – this will bring you to the centre of the forest at the main crossroads. Alternatively, meet at Little Chef on Oswestry Bypass at 09:00 (SJ 309 284) and then travel to the RV in convoy with the benefit of an experienced guide!
We have a rather large hole to fill with stone and then put a bit of a surface on top. If we get a good turnout we should be clear by lunchtime and we can go laning.
Please wear steel toecap boots

Sounds like that hole you found is going to be filled at last :D :D
Shame I can't be in two places at once - the lunchtime finish then laning sounds really good :)
CRAG seem to have a lot happening Sunday, lets hope there is plenty of good PR

Hi Dave,
I have only posted the stuff I am helping with. Theres a lot more going on.
Yes its that hole!! So it should be fill ok no more danger.
As for the PR, then thats good. But we are not after glory just to keep the lanes open. If we get the ones done around the Glyn then there will be some laneing done.
I am sure I will find some.;)

Surprising how much fun it was in the dark - especially the river crossing
Need to put extra lights on my wishlist - think I've got enough now for Christmas and birthdays for the next 10 years  :D

Your wish list is longer than mine! But you dont need more lights on the front. Maybe a good lite on the back.
Start with a cb then more later.

Light on the back would be good when attaching tow ropes to RRC's

Tell yer wot it is so nice to flick them on at night when trying to reverse in to a tight space, well worth the effort if only for that reason!

We had a good day. But it took more than we through to fill the hole I found. It took about 10T of stone in the end. The worse part was we had to dig the stone out first. But a job well done. A very good turn out.
