Well I'm not exactly an Irish member but I do love the country and as Wife1's family came from Arklow, Co. Wicklow, I am quite familiar with the coast from Dublin to Rosslaire. Driving in the rush hour in Dublin can be a bit hairy though - especially if you don't know where you are going:o
cheers, Tim
Yea,
I was waiting for someone to reply!! I used to live in Dublin but to be honest we were glad to move back to Cork. Rush hour in Dublin is interesting to be honest but you have to simply use the size of your vehicle and push in if needs be!!

My wife is Irish... I met her nealry 6 years ago when I was working in Shannon, but she lives with me now in Belper, UK.
We have a house in Camp, County Kerry and get over there 3 or 4 times a year.
Hi I'm Irish, living outside Limerick

Rush hour in Dublin is interesting
Tell me about it:eek: And then when you get out of the city on the motorway stuff and you approach a green light at 60mph and it changes to red within half a sec:eek:
Driving in Blighty is very tame:)
cheers, Tim
Whats just as interesting is the pot holes ON the motorways! I hit one the last time that I was home and I was glad that I was in a landy as any lesser vehicle wouldn't have any suspension! Even with all the quirkes I love Ireland and to be honest I think that the roads round here (Dumfries) are just as bad:eek: !

Hubber, maybe I'll be over at the same time - who knows. Anyway, if you go to Tralee, you must go for Guiness in Kirby's Brogue Inn and over to Charlie's for sandwich!
