Richard Dover is organising the event, there will be a hunt the tag challenge, then there will be an RTV course set out that you have to do in your own car, with a child in the passenger seat, then just to make it interesting you get a shot in Richards 6x6 Volvo blind folded with a child telling you where to go:D :D . It should be great fun. The winner will be the one with the two closest time's. It should only take 1/2 a day so the afternoon should be free to play:D .

And, who supplies the child ? and mores the point does the child have a say in it. Sounds like a recipe for mudpie to me and broken landies.
I drove blindfolded once at a 4x4day thing which was an interesting experience to say the least. There'll be a trail of vomiting children and adults. :D mark my words.

well that was a good day for getting muddy, Basher, I think you left those geordie boys will a good impression of the difference between off roading and greenlaning not only were their rides covered in muck but I think their strides will be a very similar colour:D

Great photo's there Kato, I will get some off the cam corder tommorrow of us stuck in the woods, some of those trees are tight for the landy's, thought I might get some character, but managed that with an encounter with a barbed wire fence and my front wing:D .

this was not for the novices! lol trust me ( 5 pairs of boxer shorts later)
thanks to the scots who pulled me oot about 30 times, and the nutter in the while defender for taking us round the hardest track ever! lol
knackered now want a bath and a beer! LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING THIS ONE AGAIN! with mud tryers and raised suspension!
i would giv it 10/10 it wasnt easy! plenty mud, plenty help good crack

I'll give you one guess who he is refering to when he talks about the nutter in the landy, nothing to do with jumping in at the deep end and trying one of the harder routes at drumclog before all the crazy rtv blokes destroyed the tracks with their simex tyres:eek:

Drumclog the holy grail of off-roading Buchan should have a weekend organised in spring, camping field provided. From what you hear and the pictures I've seen mystery intrigue and folk-law surround this place.

A bit too tight for my liking, but managed to make it through:D , it will just add character to the landy:p .
