pleasure whats that!
had a letter from town and county today wanting me to book the mistess in for a service apparently according to there records it was due in september and as they are the only locally appointed main dealer I should book it in with them!
I had it serviced in january at MY locally appointed dealer Mr J Pringle ballater who A) I used to work for B) lets me do the service and then stamps the book and C) lets me have all the parts at cost Price Plus VAT.
sent T/C a little reminder that they did not fix the car last time it was in for warrenty work (bad flat spot when weather is hot) and also the spent the best part of a week trying to stop a water leak with dum dum and silicone (still get the odd shower)

Hmm.............sounds familiar..............i used to work for the aformentioned lot..............and my dealings with them since trying to get bits for my own beast have left me none to impressed with the service they provide. :(

Only been to the Landy part of T & C twice...once to buy a 90..and no one took me on, even though I had walked around the vehicles for half an hour and stood in the showroom for a furter 10 minutes trying to catch someones eye...perhaps I did not have the right clothes on...
Second time was for some Transmission Oil, which turned out to be far cheaper than I thought it would be. However, it took several atempts to get the correct stuff as at first they said it was EP90 for the gear box in my 300 TDi  I also asked about the change to a fully synthetic oil as recommeded on here and apparently Landrover...and they knew nothing of it, although they had the stuff in stock.
This place at Braemar...are they any good then? I need a new Cam in my 110 and am looking for somewhere to do it.
Regards
Rob

Me and the wife were going to buy a freelander when they first came out we sat and spoke with a salesman at t&c for a half an hour he then disappears. For 10mins we sit and wait for him and then we ask another salesman where he has gone and they tell me he has gone home.
Would you believe it so you can imagine they didnt get a sale from me that day.
I use the guys at greenbank all the time for spares and the odd repair and find them all to be top blokes and nearly always have time for a chat and they make you feel welcome and appreciate your custom compared to T&C landrover.
Regards
Marc
