I had the good fortune today of having a sneak preview of one of the first new Focus ST's.........it was delivered to my workshop by transporter today as one of the first released by Ford Motor Company.

As you can see from the pics its a little gherish in its orange guise, but i love it!!!.........even more so when i took to the wheel after fitting a set of trade plates.........pwer in abundance here powered by the volvo T5 unit..........220bhp at the wheels, six speed box to boot and more torque than you could ask for. In short..........go test drive it for yourselves.....you wont be dissapointed.

Nice we've just sold our 03 plate Focus TDCI, as cars go its the best one we've had just couldn't manage the horse box. It used to shift but then our other car was tdi200 90. Dads just bought an R reg Fiat 20v turbo coupe he's always been a big fan. 220bhp so should go well.
If we still had the Focus could have gone for a trade in on the new ST

My dad has a focus 1600zetec, but it can't look at my wife's rover 25 Tdi. admitedly it is a 2l but the Rover is far superior overtaking and on the motorway. I found the Focus suspension quite harsh, altough it has low profiles on it which may contribute to that. He is just waiting for a new Ghia. He get them every 3 years on Mobility!!

It looks cool Kev.

Think my 90 would look good in the colour.

More yellow Land Rovers??? Excellent!

Not sure about the design of the new Focus. The old one was so radical at the time, I suppose it was unlikely that Ford would be able to continue that trend. Mind you, it does look good in these pics.

How long have you got it for? (Taking it to NorTrak tomorrow???).
