Hi Guys,

Thought I would try locally to save on postage, (Aberdeenshire?) but does anyone have an alternator and mounting bracket for a 3.5 V8 EFI? It's an '89 Rangie.

Bracket on mine is bent and the bushes on the Alternator are knackered. Combined means that I'm going through belts at rate of knots.

Any help appreciated!

Cheers,

Hugo.

In case you do have to buy a new one have a look at www.woodauto.com
the ALT 3029 or ALT 3030 depending on your mounting. New and cheap. The prices include vat.
I'm not sure of their non trade mail order policy as I was able to get a passing mate to drop in to their counter where they will do cash sales.
Don't bother with their vehicle look up as it offers the genuine part at painfull prices and it's not arranged to offer alternatives.
