Looks very good fun indeed!
Is everybody going to be there this Sunday? I have never been before but am keen to come along and meet everyone. (Still have the valance on the front of the Rangie though!)
Does anybody know much about the Range Rover Register up in Aberdeenshire? I've heard that it's quite active in southern Scotland but was thinking of joining if it was good up here? Anybody a member?
Looking forward to meeting everyone this weekend,
Cheers,
Hugo.

I'll see if Cas will make a cake or five lol. We are at her mums in Scumdee on Saturday night so i will see if the two of them can get busy with the mixing bowl and chocolate!
We will be comming up the coast road so may have to speed up past St.Cyrus incase Huey gets a wiff of the cakes..lol.
Having to go to Creiff on Saturday to pick up some slabs for her mum so will be heading over the Glenshee road if anyone fancies a wee spin. thats the reason for the big service...not sure when it was last done so thought i had better sort it..nearly there...just need a 32mm spanner to get the gear box drain plug out.
Anyway, off to look at some recipes..lol

Ok I am not stupid there is definatly a mention of cake . And the thought of its making me really hungry think I will have to go buy one on way home from work tonight.
Kev still got those sills will catch up with you next week about gearbox also.
Steve think I might have solved my overheating probs (well I hope I have) so you will need to cook the cake for maybe twenty mins.
Yum I really really really Love cake. Especially chocolate.
Rod.:D
I can feel a buffet coming on, might have to bring sausage rolls or the like bit of a savoury freak myself, have we any way of warming them? other than rods engine.
Mud, sausage rolls, and chocolate cake not even Range Rover Register could compete with that for class.
A party all for 'Boogers' can't think of any better excuse!!!!!

1st Nov 2005, 18:49
Hmmm............buffet sounds good...............but as yet no one has mentioned the bacon rolls!!!.............so ill bring the bacon and the rolls, so long as we can warm them on something other than rods engine.... never did like the taste of oil on my food.........lol.
I've 2 disposable barbecue's

Oh dear,
I had better let Cas know she is baking...she is in Manchester just now and does not know I have promised a cake..LOL
Will I have to officially launch Boogers in a sea of mud and water? Dont want to damage a bottle of champers on the bodywork  ..."I name this landy, Boogers, God bless all who mud plug in her"..lol
I think we have some gas burners etc so i'll see if we can find them and bring them along....along with some stuff to cook.
Should be a fun Sunday!

More of a Cindy man myself, she had to have action man as her love interest as they never created a Ken equivalent.:armysmile
(Didn't sit there fantasizing or anything, Wendy James from Transvision Vamp fulfilled that roll.:D )
Will bring sausages and baps instead of sausage rolls. They wont heat well on the barby!!! or is that cindy:rolleyes:.

Right.........been to makro, got the bacon n softies, and some other bits n bobs for those with sweet teeth................now whos bringing the barbies??
jamesetta
5th Nov 2005, 21:06
We have a big barby at Nortrak..........but can not find any place that sells charcoal........at this time of year,,,,,,,,,
you can not get through the doors of garages ,diy shops for the stuff....at other times in the year............
So is Stonehaven the only place that has a BBQ in November.....or mad enough to have one .........
I've got 2 disposable BBQ's they usually last good half hour bacon doesn't take much cooking should be fine also sausages and buns is anyone on ketchup detail?.... See if they work in the rain!! Just wont have to hang around cooking stuff (after all there is some off roading to be done) the test will be if the smell is enough to entice Rob, Cas and Boogers off the hill.
We have a big barby at Nortrak..................
Finaly Jamesetta admits that he's seconded the blond looker from Ken, Nortrak will be crawling with press folk, is Elvis there too?
kbraidwood
5th Nov 2005, 22:02
Elvis??.............wasnt he there somewhere last week in a big silver landcruiser?.................looked familiar anyway..............:D :D :D
Maybe the 'Light-Bulb' is the footprint from an alien craft landing and we're the equivalent of the mice in the cage with the tubes. and Elvis got stranded, they should have left Glen Miller and Buddy Holly as well.
Maybe I should go to bed and look forward to tomorrow before I post more innane drivel :p
