Salisbury Plain Advice

Hi All,
Been invited along on a laning run on salisbury plain this weekend.
Any general advice for the plain? I'm fully confident about sticking to the lanes marked on the map and the driving side of things but are there any extra considerations?
I'm thinking about not getting into a ruck with a challenger II or anything like that!
