Hi,
I saw the TR Defenders in Brighten at the weekend...............I'm in love!!! I want one!!
Decided that I will keep my FL as she is, (won't bother with the snorkel etc) and I'm going to save up for a TR.
Are they still being made? Excuse my ignorance but am only just learning about them.
Anything I should know about them? They have to be more reliable that the FL's!!!!:D :D

The Tomb Raider was a limited edition, and thus only sold udring the period that the first Tomb Raider film was out at the cinima. Sorry a new one is out of the question.
You have two options, one search the classified's, and you will pay a premium generally for a Tomb Raider version compared to another similar aged/milage defender.
The second option is to get an ordinary defender and have it resprayed and add on all the extra bits.
Won't be genuine, but will still look just as good.

Hmmm, I think I would like a real one. Although I like building things, think the second option is a bit out of my league! I had enough trouble changing the oil in my FL
Thanks for the info.

What you need is someone to build you the one that was actually in the film, V8 petrol engine, auto gearbox, lots of space and lockable boxes for the shopping.. :D
Which model did you see, was it the 90 or the longer 110?

I like the 90, mind you the 110 would carry more bales of hay! LOL
OBTW you offering to build me one then;)

And when they say limited edition they mean it too! only 250 odd were ever made! That includes the 110s and 90s!!!!
Maria,
You could probably come up with a better one yourself as things such as the roll cage is only cosmetic and not attached to the chassis.
