I know what you mean. I get really annoyed at the variation on prices in various villages, town and even different parts of Aberdeen, even amoungst the same companies sites.
Today I saw everything from 89.8 to 100.2 per litre, all within 17 miles of Aberdeen.
However, what REALLY gets me is the BP station at Elrick. Yesterday I passed it at about 11am, price was 93.3, comming home at 5:30 it had gone upto 99.9. Later on, at 7pm it was 95.6 (or something like that.) At 10pm, as it was closing, it was back upto 99.9, ready for the morning perhaps?
Call me cynical, but it seems that during rush hours, the price goes up...then drops during the day. This has been ongoing for ages. Infact, the wee garage at Dunecht was cheaper at 5.30 than the BP one, 3 miles away.
Anyway, moan over...
