ps ...my wife has another name for the two Jamesettas......
.........its not tthe "other women"
All my landrovers have been Lucy making this 90 Lucy 3 but officially the range rovers mine and thats Roxanne, Lucy 1 was the best Series 3 109 pick up with a 3. something BMC diesal engine! Could sit at 80 mph in overdrive and annoy all the reps in their Cavaleirs (it was a while ago). It seized after doing Windermere to Beverley in under 3 hours:( . Ploughing Sunday so no fun:( .

Fluffy, my 12 yr old daughter named her so because it's white like a soft summer cloud or a winter snow drift, she's bit of a poet. My wife reckons it's more like scruffy:D:D:D:D.

Well, it was easy before. The Land Rover was called the Land Rover, because we only had the one. Then someone decided that two would be better (save me from getting a swearing from Mrs Ye110w for bending it at NorTrak!), and the green90 arrived. So, the first one generally gets called the 110 ('cos it's a 110 (and it's ye110w)), and the other get's called the 90 ('cos it's a 90).
Then again, the 110 is actually Mrs Ye110w's, so it's "hers" and the 90 is mine, so gets called "mine". Unless you are Mrs Ye110w, the reverse the above! (Replacing "hers" with "his") .
But the 90 is also becoming known as "Klunk", due to the noise from the gear box shaft. And I think that Jamesetta thinks it should be "yello going green", and Geo reckons something to do with Banana Custard......
Ever wish you hadn't asked?:D

I have long pondered over a good name for the Dakar, was going to be blue thunder for a while but thats more than a little corny.
Just out of interest, any suggestions? (polite ones prefereably!)
No Nortrak again this week, still away.

The military is The Gurkha and the white 300 TDi is The Thunderchief (spelled/written that way) from the Motorhead song 'Ridin' With The Driver".

All of my cars have been known as 'The Beast' (with the exception of the mini, which could never be classed as a beast) - making the Lightweight 'The Beast III'.
On the other hand, Joshua (nearly three) calls it 'Brum' and Emma (six) just calls it cool :)
SWMBO rarely refers to it at all except when telling people that I waited for her to be away on a study week and then went out and bought a Land Rover - which trumped the husband of one of her friends on the course who had had Sky Plus installed during a study week :)

Mine are a Series III called 'The Landy' - imaginative.
A RR 'In Vogue' - doesn't have a name as it's a huge secret rebuild present for my father and therefore is refered to in low tones as the 'you know, the thingy'
And a Vogue SE 3.5EFI refered to by the wife as the 'big brown chocolate love' on account of it's being brown I guess.

During a camping trip being very drunk my mate was staring at the tyres on my hicap and mumbled "general grabber.......sounds like some sort or military dictator to me" so from then on it became known as The General.
The series 3 that im trying to get ready for MOT is simply called "bloody thing" because im fed up with it.
The series 2A hasnt got a name yet because its missing a lot of bits and is going to be made into a V8 trialler when i have the time so i will name it when its finished.
