Anyone else on shutdown?

Is anyone else on shutdown... this week.. and wants to plan a night camping out? Its not that hot this week so the weather is in favour.

Next week im off too.. but i might be flying to the UK to visit a friend in Twickenham. Jon for those who know him. So that week im busy... but this week.. maybe thursday anyone? Or maybe a pint out eh, easier to put together...

Its a bit short notice.. and probably it wont materialise... but i wanted to post it anyways. :confused: September we do need a camp out though...

I bought a tent last week and am hoping for a sleep-over at Slugs bay Saturday over Sunday if your interested? Beer and bbq on the menu.... ;)

Cheers man... so provisional plans are for Saturday evening. I`ll speak to the rest of the gang and i`ll let you know.

Im dying for a nicely grilled steak and a good with you guys... so im pushing this idea through.

Im going to try a beer marinade... I wanna check what goes best with a Hopleaf or Blue label marinade...

i actually love burgers cooked with a splash of beer...i mean burgers on the BBQ and pour beer over them whilst cooking...they taste rather good... though i consider myself not to be a great beer drinker... actually do not like it that much...

In actual fact I have known people not to like beer but still use it in cooking.
When used in cooking the taste is totaly different.

Apart from using it to baste meat it can be used to make batter, the bubbles help make a fluffier batter. (Just a little bit of useless information :D :D )

So far for definate George is joining for the day and will be popping over on Sunday morning too.
