Hi, just to let you guys know what are land rovers doing in the far east country.
Land rover doesn't have official deals in China until recent years, so the most commonly seem land rover products is the new range rover, especially in big cities like beijing, shanghai. Land rover only sell 4.4 v8 petrol model in china as it only cost about 30p per liter. i was also amazed that i have even seem a few of the latest range rover sport during my two months stay in China. There are also few discovery 2 & 3s, and freelander exist, but not as common as range rovers. Those vehicle are perceived at prestiges badge in China rather than real off roaders. There are a good number of Defenders in the country, but there are rarely seem on street, no air con probably is one the the reason as summer in china is extremly hot, most old defenders are in collectors home and the new td5s are mainly in dealers showroom. Series vehicle i believe can only be seem in museum, not only because there are aged, spare parts, consumerables are difficults to buy.
