I have just bought myself a 110 CSW V8, my first ever Landy, and basically I was hoping there were a few locals that would not mind letting me have a look at there vehicles, answer some questions or maybe point me in the direction of good places to get the thing looked at, repaired etc.

Its in pretty good nick for something 20 years old, but I would not mind comparing notes etc. Things like should the steering be so "interesting", how do I sort the door seals, what are all the "extra" switches for, how do I sort the floor rust etc. I am sure you know what I mean.

Anyway, look forward to maybe meeting some of you,

Regards
Rob

ps. I saw a lovely B reg green County V8 90 at the Alford Sprint last week. I hung around hoping to talk to the owner but no luck. Any of you the owner??

Thanks Rod,
I lived in Auchenblae for about 6 years, lived in Mansefield, second last house on the left as you left the village at the bottom. I remember Jimmy Thompson who owned the garage had a landy recovery truck, and Andy Adams at the top of the village had a red cab version.

Anyway, thanks for that, and the link. I will be in touch shortly, no doubt  .

Back to trying to fix the hole in the exhaust....AGAIN!

Thanks for the offer and the kind comments about "Poppy".

Presently trying to work out how to get her into the living room! We live in a converted coach house so have a huge arched window big enough to get the thing through..but I am not sure how the drips of oil will look on a light carpet!..LOL

That wagon of yours is something else like...looks wonderful.
