Hi guys,

as regards VRT, do think there should be any trouble for coil converted series landys? Even if it is not enforced nowadays in Malta do you have any ideas of what policies exist in the EU regards this issue?

Not that I am thinking to change my series to coil.... If you need a coily better sell it and get a coiled one :)

regards
Joseph

malta hanina hobza w sardina. meta se tibda tiweldja??

I would not do a job like that myself.... I do not have that kind of welding skills. welding some broken seat or some radiator mountings ok... but not that sort of stuff.

Do you have any idea of what sum would a good coil conversion mout up to?

Joseph

approxlm250-lm300 for differentials

approx lm200 for labour. but if i were you i would buy a MIG welder and do it my self. MIG is very easy to use. a friend of mine did not even know how to make a takkatura and he welded his own. if you want i can give you a contact(the guy which welded mine). he made a good job for me............all plates 6mm;)

Bad idea maniac! leave a series a series not a wannabe 90! It takes more then welding skills to get it right.

if you want a very good job i agree with you. in fact thats what i did for mine......i left it for the professionals.

but it is possible to weld it. a friend of mine made his and is still ok. but as grem said it is better done by the professionals.

I weld bits and pieces but I'm not going to risk my life on my welding ... So far the stuff I welded are still intact but that comes nothnig closer to a chassis :):)

Maniac can you please send me that contact on joe0192002@yahoo.com
