Hello all,
The misses, the dog and myself are going to the Lake district camping/laning this weekend.
Can anybody recommend any campsites and not to be missed lanes.
Or is anybody going to the Lake district laning this weekend?
Thanks in advance Ben

Check with the Lakes website for lanes.
The old coach road Nr Keswick is a long gentle road.
Walna scar road is a good one but rough in places there will be lots of walkers around at this time of year.
As far as I know Parkamoor is still closed due to fallen trees.

Hi,
Beth and I have just had a week in the lakes. We stayed at Park Cliff Camp site just on the side of Windermere. Great site with good facilities but it is very popular at the weekends so may have to book. http://www.parkcliffe.co.uk . We didn't do any lanes as we took the car and not the landy so can’t help you there. Have fun and enjoy.
