This weekend (16/17 July) me and the misses might be going to Devon surfing depending on a few factors. If not we are going to go for a weenkend laning. Has anybody got any ideas on places to go with a weekends laning and good campsites in the area?

Deja Vu?
Must be a glitch in the Matrix!
A few good boats on OS map sheet 191 centred around Moretonhampstead though a few are very overgrown.
Lots of nice fords, though for the bigger ones ;) you want to trek to Somerset. Have a look at Wetroads, it makes reference to BOATS RUPPS etc.
Ask Gretl if he's got a list of where he drove. :D

I don't really want overgrown lanes though. Newbloke have you posted something similar?

Croyde and surrounding beaches. Probably not going surfing so need a good place to go laning for the weekend.

Possibly going to the Lake District area, can anyone reccomend any campsites? Or any good lanes up there?
