Come on guys and gals.
Here's a chance to shatter my illusions about that former penal colony.
We Brits (or should I say Poms?) are brainwashed by Mick Dundee, Dame Edna and the folk down Ramsay Street. While I'm happy to accept some of your exports, the Minogue Sheilas, to name but two! as a traumatised child of the sixties, I can't ever forgive you for Rolf and his Jake the Peg.
Let's see some action shots of Solihull's finest using that vast island of yours.:bigwave:

Hi Seymore,

The image has to be hosted on the net somewhere for it to work.
I'm not sure if this site has a gallery you can upload to.

Here are some more flicks from outings.
And even a Camel Trophy 110, who is out touring Australia at the moment.

Hi Davo,

Awesome pics.

I guess I am a bit isolated here in Picton, NZ. Thought no one was into using their Series LR'ers any more.

Looks like you have a great LRO club in Victoria.

Thanks 4 the inspiration. Really like that S1 flat deck. Great truck.

Cheers Ian :p

Hi Ian

Yep, lots of S1's, interestingly two of the S1's do very well in our trials
competitions . :) Very often beating Disco's, Rangies, Defenders etc,
some highly modified. Gives me a warm glow when a 54 yr old S1 gets
a first ... ;)

Been to Picton a few times, my partner was born in Westport.
Magic little place, reminded me a lot of Cornwall before the tourist invasion.

Michelle

Not really expensive as its a great club, worth every penny.
Friendly bunch of LR enthusiasts and lots of trips and events.

ciao

Davo

And what do they all have in common? Weight. Tons of it!
About time LR offered us a 21st century lightweight. Maybe just a few techno-gubbins but without the bulk, please. I think they would sell like hot cakes. Come to think about it, when did you last see anyone selling hot cakes?
Cheers.;)

Tassie has a land Rover club , it's got a S1 station wagon , a 110 Defender and the rest are Toysmokers:( :o .
I was driving my old S11a swb out bush when I found them , they asked if I wanted to join , I said "I dont own a toyota:D " , they never got back to me I don't know why?;) .

Michelle

naw you dont stink too bad...

I'd need a roadworthy registered LR to be in the club now anyway lol..

redbak
16th Jul 2006, 00:10
No you don't Chelle ..;)

You could join as an "Associate Member" :D

This is for all those prodigals who don't own a Land Rover or have
committed the ultimate sin of buying an inferior replica .. :p:p:p

cheers

Senile at thirty ..

Come on now Chelle, it carn't be that bad :)

If you manage to get to work monday morning with underwear on

socks the same colour? What? since when....

My socks 'match' if they both dont have holes in them. Other than that the best I can do usually is say to my workmates' what....theyre from the same packet (same pattern), thats close enough isn't it?'
