I recently attended the Quarry site at Weardale Off Road. It was my first off road excursion and it was great.
I had arranged to meet someone there and we found trying to relate each others posistion to the other very hard. To make it easier for the next time I go I decided to make a map.
It is a basic map but should allow simple grid refs to be used to aid finding each other or others when usings CBs or Mobiles.
I have attached it here incase anyone else might find it useful. The word document should be used for printing, and the jpg is just so you can see what it looks like. I have printed A4 and A3 versions using this document and both produce good enough results to make it a useful addition to my next trip to Weardale.
Hopefully this, or something similar can be adopted by most people travelling there so there is some sort of uniform way of relaying posistions.
