On the look out for a new landy while I slowly get on with fixing up the Stage 1. Im looking for a good solid landrover,will consider both short and longwheelbase models. Must have solid chassis,no welding or 'slight rust',solid bulkhead,decent engine(Not run into the ground)and be off sufficient worth to make me want to pay ££ for it. As you may have guessed,Im fed up with people trying to flog me scrappers for crazy money and expecting me to actually pay hard earned cash! :rolleyes:

ive got plenty for sale, tho S3 LWB t cab needs bulkhead, gearbox (supplied) and seats as well as breaks needing bleeding and the S2A LWB needs rear half chassis amoung other things. not after a lot for the S3 £150 and i'll be happy. Series 2a, £300. dot really have much else.

That and the mileage,plus the state in general of some of the parts like shocks etc,people just run them into the ground not realising there not designed for high mileage motorway driving at top speed

if i can find one with a gone engine and box be it a 300tdi or 200tdi ive got a low milage 85k engine and box i caould slip in. tho 200tdis have a serious rust problem and 300tdi's are high in price.
