Hi Lud,
I guess Shell Spirax 80W or 90W should be fine.
i got BP 90W in my axles (from that petrol station further down from school), if am not mistaken gearbox had gotten the same oil.
as regards to props u got to ask dennis as i used his grease gun (well actually he did it)
Hey Lud
mela this is what I've been using for the past years.
Engine ................. BARDHAL BM-7 (turbo motor oil 10/50, its a 5 litre yellow can with a black label, u need 2 cans though cause engine + filter takes about 7 litres.
Brake fluid reservoir.......... Hydrolic Fluid dot 4 (any brand is ok but I use Fina !)
Clutch fluid reservoir .............. same as above
Transfer gearbox ................... Gear Oil Ep80 or 90 (again I use Fina)
Manual Gearbox ...................... Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF)
and for the front and rear axles and the Swivel pin housings I use............................................... Gear Oil SAE 90 ( I used BP)
all in all everyone has his favorites brands, the important is that it would be of the correct type and specification as required by the maker !
hope this helps

Adding to the above... I use BP oils usually.
Engine oil... 10/50 is great. Make sure it's a Turbo Diesel spec oil and it's of a good name brand. In Maltese .. titqammilx fuq iz-zejt tal-magna.
Gearbox... I use ATF (bhal tal-power steering).
Transfer case... Gear oil EP90 or SAE80W/90. You can go synthetic if you want too but it's expensive.
Axles - Gear Oil like transfer case. I wouldn't bother with synthetic here on my landy because it will still fill up with mud, water etc :D
Grease - I assume you have a grease gun. Well any Lithium Based grease is perfect. Lithium based grease is the common multipurpose grease.

Guys thanks a lotfor your help need every thing for next weekend.
Btw when renewing the oils form diffs and G/box do i need some oil seals or washers?

Most of them are taper threads so they seal with the taper. Just make sure you don't overtighten the plugs. 25Nm is the torque to use on the axle plugs if you're paranoid on getting everything done to the book like I am.
If I recall correctly, the main gearbox drain plug has a copper sealing washer (same like the engine drain plug) that should be renewed with oil changes but I've used mine twice now and it ain't leaking. The only place you're likely to find this washer is Muscat Motors. I had to replace my engine drain plug sealing washer after I found that the old one was practically welded onto the drain plug hehe. I had to hacksaw and pry it off! So it's handy to have a few of them washers running around.

Thats what i have been using for the past 10 years in my 200tdi, i found it good and the engine seems to have liked it as well.
