Thursday's Wrexham evening paper reports that Police, complete with helicopter, have caught over 30 4x4 vehicles being driven illegally on Llantisilyo mountain at the back of Llangollen. They were told that future offences would result in fines and vehicle confiscation. About time too!
Apart from a tarmac road over the top, and tracks used by the owners/occupiers, this is a SSSI and they shouldn't have been there.
Question, where are they going to turn up to play next??

thats good news john. its about time the prats are rounded up. i have no sympathy for them if they were trespassing. 30 sounds like quite alot, almost as if it was an organised play about! or was it 30 over some time or all at once?

I hope the message gets out to all those who illegally drive on private land also roads / paths with no legal vehicular status. :(

Good stuff, get rid of the idiots as quickly as possible before they do us any more damage with bad PR like this. As we know the general public will tar us all with the same brush.

They should rip their nostrils with a boathook.
That gets my vote too!
Although I would have given them hefty fines this time!! bloody scrotes!! ruining it for the rest of us!! They wouldn't tolerate it where they live so why travel and do it on someone elses doorstep!! Where my damned boat hook?? nah no need have found me scrote bashin' club, with handy rusty nails in the end!! :TFG: :TFG: :you****** :shake:
so do you think all of these people knew what they were doing was ilegal when they went there ?
or could it be a case of some of them just followed along with the people who set this up ?

Is bound to be the case! unfortunately not every 4x4 driver is aware of the green laning issues! And the rest of the scrotes just couldn't care less and these are the low lifes that are giving us all a very very bad name!
30 people is alot tho, sounds like an organised pay and play on the greenlane day to me! Ba5tards!

Hmmmm things appear to be hotting up!!!
I do like the "sensitive landscape" bit!! is funny really cos one good quake or large amount of rain and the landscape will be cpmpletely changed very dramatically forever! Sensitive landscape my ****, the geology and morphology of landscapes is continually changing and will do whether peeps drive over it or not!! Afterall the landscape was here millions of years before humans arrived! by eck it even managed to survive a couple of full scale glaciations too!! Mmmmm let me think, 4x4s Vs 5km thick ice cap!! nah 4x4s are the biggest danger for the sensitive landscapes! Idjits!!!
