saw three geared up landrovers pulled up outside our local ARB store the other morning early - they were obviously off for a days off roading. Two older ty pe range rovers (not sure, late 80's/early 90's?0 and a discovery.
Of course, the discovery was in the lead :p
 I don't th ink I could ever do that! The red landcruiser didn't seem to be giving his car enough revs at the right time did he, like at the beginning, he waited till he was properly in the mud before giving a bit of acceleration, rather than trying to get a bit of momentum up whilst he still had wheels in the better ground.
The rangie driver I think must have been the more experienced one (not a true reflection on the car if the drivers have differeing levels of experience). He looked to have much meatier tyres also
Tell me something, that short downhill stretch that had really deep ruts...why not straddle the ruts and ride along more comfortably on that left shoulder?
