Sounds good. To be honest i`ll check what my mates are doing ( more like which pub they`re going to ) so i`d tell them to join us.

If we`re going for a drive...any cheap **** bar we can stop at once we`re out? But isnt 20.00hrs time to tuck up some food? We could easily find a nice picnic spot instead and chuck some burgers on a BBQ. Dunno.. i cant help not complicating life.:p

Great drive but those Pastizzi nearly killed me, I was feeling sick even the next morning!

Next day (Saturday) I was crawling under my Rangy fixing an axle oil leak at the front, I foind that the gasket joining the swivel joint to the front diff casing had almost disintegrated due to the fact that half the bloody bolts where not even tightened!!
Thanks to Nighthawk and his tools and help we sorted it no problem. Plus we learned lots. Hehehe. (Shhhhh, now there are no oil leaks either)

Yep... nice drive. Nice uphill drive at Popeye village. Will certainly do it again. If I'm ever in mellieha and going back home that's gonna be my road every time.

As for saturday, yes. Gits at work always do a good job :D
Btw buzz I turned out to be more of a beer swiller than you thanks to me "accidentally" stealing your beer. Heavy emphasis on the "accidentally" lol.

Yes I learnt a hell of a lot last Saturday. Once I buy and rebuild my spare differential I'll be familiar with almost every part of my landy, with the exception of the clutch.

Btw I gave my landy a little test after replacing the inlet manifold gasket (thanks to buzz for the help during my blonde moment lol). No more turbo squealing or turbo overspeeding. Nice and compact whislte and train pulling power. Definitely a noticeable power gain. Buzz you need to get in the driving seat of my landy next time. You gotta feel what an empty, light, 300tdi-powered 90 with a tweaked injection pump can do :D.... now what if i fit a full size intercooler??? :rolleyes:

Its so much more satisfying doing our own work, apart from the fact that it gets done right as well.
