when desire to live under canvas strikes theres a Little camp site at pool bridge near Pollock north exmoor which although is in the wilds has a small wooden shower block with toilets, hot and cold water at a sink there but nicest of all you are allowed to have bonfires within so many meters of the stream. next time you want a couple of days laneing around here check it out. its on a turn up and pitch bases they collect moneys in the morning

its relay very quaint and being at the end of horner wood Vallie has steep wooded hills on three sides so good for the kids safety.
the few times i been there it seems quiet but i don't do high season there.
