Anyone done it ?

We got some fantastic beaches around 'ere, just thought my sailing skills could be put to good use on dry land :D

no but power kiting in a buggy yes. Using a Peter Lynn kite and a sand buggy with big tyres - great fun.

I imagine you'd not have to be quite as fit for sand yachting as you do for a kite buggy. I mean with the yacht you're not holding onto the sail for dear life :p

I've watched them with awe, sadly my hips and dodgy back now prevents me from trying......:(

But an off road sand yacht could be fun, especialy on our local beaches..........:yay:

A pall of mine has a blowcart, small sandyacht. He loanded it to anothe pall who promptly crash jybed it on the beach. Result: one shattered ulna. :Cross:

This thing folds up into a suitcase sized pack to fit in the boot of your average Eurobox. Costs the thick end of a grand though!
